I replied to an anon earlier just after I saw the new Ealing pics. There was no way I could log off so easily from Tumblr after that...

And it got me to thinking (after I stared at that ring for a minute). Look at this Elsie wig comparison. Does it not look like something ELSE is going on with her hair for the wedding? The curl we can see peeking from under her cap doesn’t look at all in line with the swept do we can see in the picture on the right.

I would imagine she would have a fancier do for the wedding. But now I really want to know! I can’t wait to see it in a few months!

Here are two versions: one with a chatelaine, and both of them with a map from the cover of The Yorkshire Dales, the illustrated guide book put out by Ward Lock &Co (that thing is awesome, it was my favorite gift from Christmas besides the Chelsie Proposal, of course).

I agree. Everyone is going backwards. Not that I'm complaining. It was actually starting to give me anxiety that they were all aging so quickly.

I am on a deadline for a essay submission. Ugh. So much Chelsie today has put me off it somewhat.

chelsie-carson: it was SOOO miserable not rewatching. But I spread the love by forwarding it to all sorts of non-Tumblr folks. Sharing the torture was gratifying enough! ;-)

onesimus42: sooo many miles, and so much exercising I didn't do myself today. Power to you! Does standing while reading/outlining count as exercise? I'm a huge fan of standing desks....

@olehistorian: good luck! I'm not that under the gun, but the Labor Day holiday is back-loading my coursework. Combined with S5, I am going to collapse over angsty-feels for classwork and Downton. Oh yes, and football - I didn't watch a SINGLE game (what is wrong with me?!) despite all the tailgating occurring around me.
