I'm rewatching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and honestly it's amazing. Nothing can capture the magic I feel when I watch this. Learning about the Wizarding world along with Harry and the hilarity that is the Dursley family.

But also McGonagall is so fucking petty. The first letter is sent and destroyed and she's like "well, that is unacceptable" and makes it her mission to send like 7 billion letters to the Dursley residence so Harry has a shot of opening one. She's basically like "he's going to this school whether you like it or not" and when that somehow doesn't work due to Vernon's stubbornness she sends in the gentle half giant himself and he calls Vernon a prune.

And of course the wand choosing scene absolutely destroys me.

I just really love this movie.

I've finally finished the main story with the unofficial 'GamesVoice' Russian voice pack yesterday. Ranrok sounds more badass for sure and I still love male mc voice in this version more, the original sounded like a robot without emotions imho. For Rookwood not sure, I think I get used to his English high intonations, Rus language structure and intonations are too different)

Guysss great news! I was finally able to get some hogwarts mystery models. I'm working hard to convert some of them for The sims 4!

Olivander would make a greate Decosim! I don't know if I'm able to convert him for CAS too, but we'll see! Stay tuned.

so according to people and the internet, wands length in harry potter are determined by your height (usually). so like, what about the eleven year olds? the ones that are buying their wands? they’re smol!!

my solutions:

the wands grow cuz magic, which solves the problem and leaves the future alone.

or…..

the whole shenanigans of “omg!!! did you hear ella’s wand was like 13 inches?!” “no way! she’s so small!“ or a mother grumping and frumpiness about how her “daughter” will be taller that her but he comes out and she’s like “makes sense” instead of being terrible
