Tell me about your ocs pls

You didn’t specify which ones so I’m going to talk about Selas, Lover, and Olive I spose

Selas is a little bitch of a man that somehow runs a tavern and wears an eyepatch. If you ask him how he lost his eye his response is “wouldn’t you like to know weather boy” (he still has both eyes). His two employees are Sunny and Sylvia, who both hate his guts and regularly conspire to kick him out and take over. Hijinks ensue.

Lover is a cursed demon forced to walk the earth after being forcefully separated from the woman she loved. Her horn is broken and she has many eyes and three mouths. She just wants to be reunited with Echo, her wife, but they’re both cursed to never be able to truly reunite and live the way they did before.

Olive is a tiny child from an unnamed village who wanders into a cursed forest because they heard that the man who lives in the woods cares for children. They get curious, run out into the woods and get attacked by a shadow, only to end up in the small shack of one Arthur Lester who is Definitely coping just fine with being a semi-corporeal shadow being bound to the forest but that’s a problem for another day.

“So where did you get that scar?”

Arthur chokes on his food, coughing and wheezing as Olive simply blinks up at him.

“It’s…a long story.”

“I’ve got time.” They smile, cocking their head. “Is it a secret?”

Arthur takes a minute to answer. “…Yes. It is a secret. Only I know about it.”

“Well that sounds sad,” Olive says, frowning suddenly. “I used to tell Suzy everything before she went away.”

Then, Arthur looks out the window at the shadows covering the glass, and he tilts his head as if listening to something they can’t hear.

“Yes, well, I’m not exactly one for…close friendships, I suppose.”

Olive nods, before crossing their arms. “You seem really sad.”

Arthur chokes again.

And later, when Arthur tries to get them out of the house, to go home, Olive refuses to budge.

They’re staying. Because Arthur needs something nice. And Olive is very capable of being nice.

There is a monster in the woods.

It is the shadows, the cold darkness of the trees, the oppressive blackness in the middle of the day.

Nobody has seen it, but some have ventured into the woods, stumbling into the dark. Never to return.

But the children of the town do not speak of a monster. They speak of a man.

His eyes are bright, burning the same golden yellow of the lantern he holds. He holds the hands of children, keeping them safe in a small cabin, or guiding them to the edge of the woods.

The shadow wrap the walls of his cabin but the light inside does not die as he tends to children’s bruises and cuts and holds those who long to be held.

He walks children, reluctant to return, to the edge of the wood, and he cannot set foot outside, lest his light go out and his darkness reveal itself again.

The children long to stay, but the man does not let them, and the monster chases them away.

Until one child was too stubborn to stay away.

And this is how Olive enters Arthur Lester’s life.
