Found in the Andes Mountains in parts of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, these New World sparrows usually frequent areas near running water, particularly in forested ravines. Foraging on or near the ground, they may feed on insects, though the specifics of their diet are not known. Breeding mostly between March and April, they build spherical nests from moss, rootlets, and leaves in vine tangles or on rocky walls around creeks. Females lay clutches of two eggs. They are classified as Near Threatened by the IUCN due to predicted population declines from increasing deforestation in their range.

Originally from Strangerville, mom and daughter duo Nora and Olive had no choice but to move when things there started getting...weird. Growing up, young Olive didn’t have many friends her own age but she’s always had her mom. It hasn’t been easy adjusting to a new place, but she’s looking forward to starting school and a chance to reinvent herself. Will the move give Olive a chance to figure out who she really is? Maybe her mom can find happiness in Copperdale too?  So! It’s finally Saturday so Olive had time to decompress from school by playing the sims 😄 literally me babes She took her crush Savannah on their first official date to Thriftea (amazing makeover by @pictureamoebae). I think it went pretty well and I love them to bits 💗

Back with the Finch family, I saw Olive was crushing on Savannah Price, so I went with it. Olive invited her to the carnival! Upon arriving, Savannah decided the first thing she wanted to do was leave 😐 So, Olive got ice cream all alone and was super cute. I felt bad so her mom Nora joined. They rode the spooky ride and the ferris wheel together til Olive had to go home because ~curfew~ Her pride was slightly hurt since her date left, but all in all was a good day and my little cherub had happy dreams 💜
