Olive Laurier is Captain of security on Thomas Rush's team, going around the post-apocalyptic countryside and liberating people from Highwayman Control. Unfortunately the plot of new dawn involves her ending up in Hope County, which is currently crawling with highwaymen and split between the Scavengers in Prosperity and the New Edeners.

Yeah, a few times, honestly. Aphid is in the habit of not asking for any help when he's being overwhelmed by enemies, not because he thinks he doesn't need it or whatever but because he's scared to ask anything of anybody. So its not that there's specific times because (I suck at fc5) him and the gfh/ffh (usually sharky and jess) are taking turns saving each others lives yk?

That beginning of New Dawn cut scene? Yeah, most significant of the times, and it will haunt her forever. "Save yourself" plays in her head over and over when she feels like she's losing it. It rings in her ears when she winds up losing Rush. She does not listen.

🍋 [LEMON] What is their kryptonite/ultimate weakness?

She uh - oh, she's really gullible and has a terrible temper. It's not bad to be gullible and she's mostly that way because she sees good in people which isn't bad either but when the 4th highwayman pulls a sob story and she feels bad for them and let's them go (only for it to backfire horribly) she gets a long lecture about it. Temper is bad because following a betrayal of trust she should not have given, she gets omega violent about it. Which means she forgets she's supposed to take care of the hostage or whatever first and kill if she has to second. It's not great. She's young and makes a lot of mistakes in a world that is no longer kind about them.

🍑 [PEACH] How do they show their kindness? How kind are they truly?

Mentioned above, she will give second and third chances (if you survive the failing of the second chance) constantly, I made her to be unabashedly and wholeheartedly kind because I thought it would mesh well with the world as it is in new dawn. She wants to help people, she loves helping people, and she can't stand people who decide that the world is fucked and therefore they give up.

🌈- What does this oc like and dislike about themselves?

Olive takes a lot of pride in her abilities, she's a good fighter, and she can brute-force her way through anything. She takes the same amount of pride in being upbeat and happy despite the actual apocalypse happening around her and how dreary life feels. She wants to keep others' spirits up, and people learn by example. So she finds joy in life and will excitedly direct people to look at it.

That being said, she definitely hates having like other regular human emotions. She's an emotional person, and she hates that. Olive cries as easy as she laughs and wishes she could be "normal."

I think both my ocs (Aphid and Olive) do, but Aphid is definitely more aware of and ashamed of it. He gets stressed and overwhelmed and snaps at people. He's working on it because he doesn't like scaring and hurting people, ya know?

Olive, meanwhile, doesn't fully recognize these bad habits until halfway through New Dawn and doesn't actively take steps to change it til after everything with Rush goes down and she fucks up while angry. Its something for her and Aphid to bond over n Aphid to help her work through in New Dawn though.
