Oliver smiled, happy that at least Cora got his weird humor. It took an interesting type of person to work in the morgue and that was one way to describe Oliver- interesting. His gaze kept shift from the snowfall outside to the woman besides him. "Yeah it is coming down pretty good isn't it.' He mused softly. 'The one time the weather man gets right huh?' And he chuckled again, but hearing her worry over her case the male raised a brow at her. "Mind if I take a look? Fresh set of eyes and all that? Maybe I can help?"

@nightskymuses said ❄️ for our muses to be snowed in together.
Nobody ever listened to the weatherman when it came to snow. Ever. And today was no different. But of course he’d been right. at least three feet of snow had fallen very quickly. Oliver hadn’t been paying attention to any of what was going on, far too buried in his own work down in the morgue. So when he came up those stairs to leave and saw that-- that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, he groaned but quickly noticed he wasn’t alone. “How long do you think we are going to be stuck here?’ He asked the detective.

Oliver took a moment to eye the woman, noting the visitor badge and lowing his clip board. At mention of the DA, the man stood up a bit straighter. ‘Right, uh-- here you go.’ He mumbled, grabbing the report from the desk behind him and taking that step forward to hand it to the brunette. “Oliver O’Neil, chief ME.’ He offered back to her since he doesn’t recall every meeting the DA’s assistant before. He’d heard about her hiring but nothing more. ‘And there’s nothing super exciting. Pretty straight forward report wise. Cause of death was multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.’ Jealous ex-wife went crazy on the mistress. ‘Hasn’t the woman already confessed to this?’

Honestly Oliver hadn’t even looked up from his clipboard when he’d said that, all too used to being interrupted by people who shouldn’t be wandering in and out of the morgue. But at the sound of Cora’s voice he did. ‘Sorry detective, just about done.’ he said, clearing his throat and putting the clip board down. “As we assumed, cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. Just waiting on the toxicology report to come back before it’s all done with.’
