I can’t believe that I almost forgot to post this last week! Believe it or not but I got into the @olivercollab ! I also was lucky enough to get “Loucetios” by Momocashew (who’s also now currently part of Mili, one of my fave bands) which is not only one of my fave Oliver songs but one of my fave Vocaloid songs of all time! Anyways Happy Birthday Oliver! 🎉✨
Hi!! It’s Roach! I’m the new moderator for Oliver Collab and it’s Time!
Time for what? Oliver’s 8th anniversary! Please Reblog to spread the word and read carefully because there will be a few changes!
This will be just your standard art collab with drawings based around Oliver’s original songs. If you have any questions or concerns, please send me a message through Tumblr or DM me through twitter @olivercollab. On Tumblr, if you wish for me to answer you privately, add an asterisk (*) at the beginning of your message or just tell me flat out in the message that you want me to respond privately, otherwise they will be public.
Notes:
Applications will be open for two weeks and it is unlikely I'll extend it. If you have not received an acceptance message within three days free to email me again or check in with me on Tumblr.
This year, traditional art will be allowed on the requirement it is properly scanned and fully rendered! If you choose to go with traditional please try to include in the form examples of your traditional art and the scanning method available to you! It’s also preferred you crop your drawing yourself before sending it in!
Please do NOT apply if you think there's a chance you won't be able to make the deadline. On the off chance you will not be able to finish, please let us know at least a week before the deadline. There will be checkpoints to look at progress and communicate with people about any possible problems whether it's a question or an unexpected incident that may hinder completion of their submission. Please understand that failure to respond to checkpoints within a week will lead to me removing you from the collab.

Please do NOT draw for this collab until you have received a confirmation for both your acceptance and your chosen song.
When you are accepted, please do not post WIPs or the picture itself anywhere before Oliver’s birthday. After the collaboration picture has been uploaded, however, feel free to post your submission and if you’d like for me to reblog/retweet it, tag it as #olivercollab2019.
All submissions must be digitally drawn or professionally scanned.
All art presented in submissions must be 100% drawn by you.
Please refrain from applying if you cannot see yourself being able to complete the collab between October 9th and December 17th.
I will email reminders every two weeks (or through your specified preferred website!) to check up on everyone so no one forgets! (The difference between reminders and checkpoints is that you aren’t required to respond to reminders unless there’s an issue you’d like to address while with checkpoints, responses within a week are mandatory.)
Submission Rules:
Once you are accepted, I will link you to a spreadsheet with a list of songs you can draw for. You are not limited to this list and this is mainly to provide you with an idea of what songs have already been taken and what is out there. Please tell me what song you wish to sign up for and once you have received confirmation that I have added both you and your song to the list, then you may start working on your piece anytime.
You are allowed to use designs that are not in a song or not linked to a song on the requirement it still bears resemblance to Oliver though it is requested to give an example of the design if you choose this route!
If you wish to draw for a song not already on the list, please provide me both the title and the url. If I approve of it, I will email you back once I have added it and then you may begin working.
Once you have selected a song, please draw a picture that represents the song well with a minimum of a simple background. If there are other characters, you’re free to add them in, however, Oliver must be the main focus.
Your final submission must be on a 800x800 canvas saved as png.
Half-bodies or full-bodies are both acceptable.
When you have completed your submission, email me your final product at [email protected] and I will send you a confirmation message back. If I do not respond in 48 hours, message me either on tumblr or on twitter at @tsururoach if that’s more convenient for you.
Checkpoints are:
November 11th—Have some kind of concept for your piece (extremely rough sketching, brainstorming, etc)
December 9th—Be close to finishing or have significant progress on your piece.
The deadline is December 17th.
Please refrain from drawing sexual or suggestive drawings. Aside from that, as long as he can still be recognized as Oliver and doesn’t include any sort of hate speech, feel free to take artistic liberty.
