i read it before watching the movie but i enjoyed the movie better so i think you won't be missing anything really important (although there's one scene that was changed a bit that i absolutely hated in the movie)

yeah i think so! the books are so much more in depth tho so i suggest reading them both but i think if you read the second after the movie you should be fine

Thank you! I actually have the first book too, I'm just really curious how it continues, so that's why I would rush into the second book right away.

But I think I will start with the first one then, just to be sure.
