When doing your Yuri voice, did you base it off of the English dub voice? Or did you kind of just make it on your own?

I started my Yuuri stuff before the English dub even became a thing, actually. Just sorta made it my own. Impressions aren’t my thing, so any time I attempt something it’s /my take/ on a character. Accuracy and similarity isn’t what I aim for primarily. If there’s an established voice then I’ll try, but I treat it more like me auditioning for a role, not trying to copy a role.

I just saw your panel on the Anime Fest website and I SLAMMED that "vote for this panel" button. Quick question though, what all will be going on at the panel?

There are two panels, actually. The Yuri on Ice one, and the R-18 Voice Acting one. The Yuri on Ice one is going to take the theme of “finding your eros”, and leans heavily on interaction with the crowd. People can be in character as who they’re cosplaying, or just themselves, and we’ll do some yoi related “say this line and make it sound erotic”, stuff, maybe do two rounds of the game. There’s going to be an emphasis on performance as well, so you can just say your line, or you can really spruce it up with improvisation. I would also love to use it as an opportunity for an 18+ Yuri on Ice photoshoot.

My panel other panel is more personal storytelling and Q&A, where I talk about how I got into doing this and some of the things that have happened because of it, then if we have time we’ll do a not-so yoi related “take a line and make it sound lewd” game. This one is a bit more open ended, who knows how it’s going to go. I’ll be debuting this one at Hamacon!

So I noticed that you are going to Anime Fest in August!!! Would you also happen to be going to the Kinokuniya event this Saturday as well??

I wish! I’m actually not in the area, I’m making the trip down to Dallas from Tennessee for Anime Fest. It seems fairly likely that in the future I’ll be moving to Texas. The more and more I think about my future and the way things are lining up, when finally I’m set and ready to make things happen, that’ll be where I land.

The amount of hate you're receiving for just BEING A PART OF A HEALTHY FANDOM is ridiculous. You post great, original content and you're friendly to everyone. People who hate on you clearly have nothing better to do with their time. Keep being you and keep doing what you're doing!!

I wouldn’t really call my content original, but I try! It’s so hard to keep this fandom afloat when it’s been over a year since we’ve had an interaction between them. Most fandoms would have just given up entirely by now, BUT NOT THIS BITCH! As I told Aylin already, the hate has been getting dialed up recently, but I could care less. I’ve been doing this thing for four years now and I don’t intend on stopping or changing anything anytime soon! :D Thank you for all the love! <3

I can't remember if you've said this or not, but do you live in Texas? And if you Do, would you happen to be going to Anime Fest in Dallas? The Yuri on Ice dub voice actors will be there!! Also, it would be so cool to meet you!!

Hiya! Unfortunately, I do not live in Texas :( I live in Kentucky which is halfway across the country… I want go SOOOO bad like you wouldn’t believe it! I would love to attend the panel with the YOI dub VA’s because, as you already know, I’m a huge fan of the dub and I would love to be there in person! Not only to see them, but also to meet you and fangirl over Yuuri and Victor all day. It would be the best thing in the whole entire world… but distance… and work… and life… :( Poop.
