Sometimes, it takes a village to catch a bad guy. This week, it’s going to take the combined forces of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Fire.
The big crossover kicked off Tuesday night on Chicago Fire, where the crew is dealing with a big arson/rape case. News of that triggers a memory for Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) all the way in New York — it sounds far too similar to an unsolved case she was on a decade earlier. So, she flies to Chicago to see if it could be the same perpetrator.
Benson gets to team up with Voight (Jason Beghe) for the second time after last year’s three-way crossover, and detectives and firefighters alike work furiously to catch this arsonist/rapist before he strikes against. Unfortunately, their adversary is smart as well as evil — which they’ll sadly learn when one of their own goes down!
The crossover event continues Wednesday, April 29 at 9 p.m. on Law & Order: SVU and at 10 p.m. on Chicago P.D.
