ruby was practically shaking with excitement. to catch up with olivia was nothing more but memories of home. growing up with someone so beautiful and easy to look up to. but what was exciting her was when she was invited out to go to olivia’s dance studio and practice again. for ruby it was something she used as a way to help her anxiety but she knew it was the other woman’s passion. 

entering the massive building with her gym bag ruby looked around, finding a practice room hoping she wasn’t too late with meeting her friend. “olivia? are you in here? it’s ruby.”

fleur sighed walking down the hot and sticky streets of chicago. she was sweating bullets and couldn’t wait to just get to the cool lobby of the well conditioned malnati where she could at least cool down. but in a heat forced rush the girl found herself running face first into another person, hitting into her like a truck. “damn!” fleur said bouncing back only to recollect and look the other in the face with concern. “hey are you alright? i didn’t hurt you did i?”

“oh thanks! i use this really nice oil mask to keep it from getting split ends, if you want you can borrow it.” ruby said with a wide smile. she looked over and swirled her finger in the air. one of those braids that make a crown. can you do that?”
