Many hours are spent studying in the library. Joan continues to excel, while Laurence struggles a bit.
Sundays mean sermons at the chapel! Columbia has established herself as the most prominent religious figure in Montrose, and as such her duties include giving sermons and leading townsfolk in prayer.
She and the orphans wear a uniform color of purple, to show their status as servants of Virtus.
After some very frustrating technical difficulties, I decided to start off the spring round with the household I’m most excited for - the newly established foundling home, Our Lady of Victory!
Columbia Merlot is the headmistress of this new safe haven for the orphans of Montrose. No children have been put up for adoption yet, but Columbia has adopted in the two orphans (townies) that have been running around: Joan and Laurence.
The orphans will receive a quality education here at OLoV, and those who manage to get at least 5 points in body, mechanical, and logic will be considered for admission to Montrose’s Knight Academy. Becoming a knight is considered a high honor, as it inherently entails devotion to the war goddess Virtus.
