An open letter to my fiance 12/20/18

I lost my grandmother yesterday, you did your best to comfort me through the distance and it was more than I could ever ask for. Your phone call and hearing your voice helped soothe me beyond all measures, you truly are the most amazing. I know that this is going to be a long road ahead of us, getting back to what we once were, but I’m here for you honey, just like you are for me. Nothing is going to stop that. I know we are just starting this healing journey, but side by side we have this, we are rocks for each other. I adore you and want nothing but your happiness, and I’m going to make sure we get it together.

An open letter to my fiance 12/18/18

Today I started really thinking about everything you told me over the weekend. I sat back and really took a look at what I have done or not done to make you feel the way you do about our relationship. How I might not have told you how much I appreciated you, or how I might not have listened as much as you wanted me to during a time when you needed me most. I’m sorry I used your support and might not have returned it to you when you actively needed me to, I’m sorry if I have made you feel taken for granted. I never meant to and I promise for this day forward I will make sure I do my damnedest to take care of all your needs and be there for you in every instance that you need me

An open letter to my fiance 12/17/18

Ducky, 

I’m sorry that I let my inability to process thoughts and emotions properly speak before I have had chance to think things through, our situation has me pulled in 123408 different ways and it terrifies me. I love you with all my heart and I promise with everything in my soul that I do trust and believe you. You are the most amazing woman to ever cross into my life and I couldn’t picture a day without you in it. I know that the road ahead of us is a long and rough one, but I know that together you and I can come out of this on top, stronger, and more together than ever before. I know that 3 years of a long-distance relationship can be hard on people, but I have the upmost of faith in you and in us.
