Olympic Mascots headcanons - Vinicius and Tom

Vinicius is a cat monkey hybrid and is the first hybrid to be a mascot of the Rio Olympics 2016. He is the life of the party of the Olympic Mascots. He is extremely cheerful and carefree and proud of his heritage and culture and show what Brazil has to offer. He loves samba and the Rio Carnival and football or soccer. He greets the other Olympic Mascots to Rio de Janiero or simply Rio to participate the Rio Olympics and events such as Rio Carnival and some Brazilian food. His father is a monkey and his mother is a jaguar. He resembles that of a kinkajou. Vinicius’ personality is based on Vivo the kinkajou from Vivo movie.

Tomas or Tom is an anthromorphic tree. He is a friendly, down to earth, kind hearted, grounded and supportive companion of Vinicius. He is the first anthromorphic plant to be a mascot of the Rio Paralympics 2016. However during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Tokyo Olympics was postponed to 2021, he encourages his friends not to go into fear of the pandemic highlighting the new motto of the Olympics, “faster, higher, stronger together”. Three years later, 2024, Paris Olympics 2024 marked the return of Olympic fans and cycle of a traditional four year cycle thanks Corinne the Olympic Phryge, the mascot of Paris Olympics 2024. Corinne keeps Paris and all of France moving. Tom has even meet her during the opening ceremony.

In my fan casting, Vinicius’s fan cast voice actor is Lin Manuel Miranda, best known for Hamilton, In the Heights, Encanto for the songs and soundtrack and Vivo and his titular movie. Tom’s fan cast voice actress is Stephanie Beatriz best known as Brooklyn Ninety Nine, General Sweet Mayhem from the Lego Movie 2 the Second Part and Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto.

& shane and their lawyers become best friends because shane feels So out of control those first few months that he just starts suing everyone. he sues the NHL and he sues the player, he sues at least three news outlets for shit they’ve said about ilya, he sues a bunch of paparazzi for trying to break into the hospital. at one point he threatens to sue the doctors and yuna has to take him outside and Talk To Him. the worst of shane comes out those first few months but he tries to hide it from ilya (not hard because he’s on so much pain medication for so long because of the many, many surgeries.)

and then maybe a year later ilya is finally coming back to himself and his body and is like. shane . fucking hell . you tried to sue to whole of canada? what next? you sue my spine? this is overkill my love no? (most of these lawsuits are still ongoing) and shane is like. well i needed a project . ilya gets him to drop most of them but they keep the suit abt the injury and against the paparazzi and win both.

and yes of course it affects their sex life!! he can get hard but he can’t maintain it, he can orgasm but he can’t ejaculate. sometimes orgasms can trigger an AD episode. and YES HE’S ALLOWED TO FREAK OUT ABOUT THAT AND FEEL WEIRD ABOUT THAT!!!! he can talk to galina about it until the cows come home, and maybe finally untangle his relationship with his body and how he’s used sex in the past and how he’s coping now that he can’t do that anymore.
