BIOGRAPHY
Though he’s the eldest of the three McCusker siblings, Lee has always been the one the rest of his family worried about when left to his own devices. He loved exploring and constructing things with found materials, but the risks he took to do both of those things proved stressful for his relatives to witness. Lee followed wherever his inspiration and wanderlust led; the trouble was, as his mother often cautioned him, he needed to “look before you leap.” The vast majority of his childhood, Lee had numerous small bandages on his limbs and torso from falling while outdoors. He’d cheerfully point to each one, if asked, and tell the story behind the minor injuries. They never seemed to bother him much or dissuade him from going on new adventures. When he went to high school, Lee got involved in theatrical productions with the drama club. The club supervisor quickly discovered the boy had a talent for making sets, and he was put in charge of doing so for every production during his four years at the school. Lee thrived in that auditorium and has maintained friendships with the other theatre students even to the present day.
PRESENT
An internship at Broadview facilitated by his club supervisor in school led to a steady career as a set designer once Lee got out of college. He’s been happily employed there ever since. It’s a rewarding line of work, but also admittedly strenuous. When he has days off or a few hours of freetime at night, Lee often visits a local bar to have some drinks and unwind. Metropolitans are typically his order-of-choice, and he enjoys them so much that sometimes moderation gets thrown to the wind. Lee has discovered that a personal side effect of this is that he tends to shift on his way home. Finding his clothes back the next day is a rather hit-and-miss endeavor. Locals swap stories of the clumsy deer they saw tripping over lawn decorations and bleating at statues as if they might respond.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Lee has floppy, dark brown hair that he refuses to cut short. That said, he does prefer to trim before it gets long enough that it’d need to be tied back while working. He still has a lot of scrapes and cuts, just like in childhood, and some have turned into scars. There’s always at least a little stubble on his face. He wears a musky cologne to help combat the constant scent of sawdust that comes from his clothes.

CONNECTIONS
Tegan McCusker: Younger sister - Tegan is a bit of a mystery to Lee because she keeps so much to herself. Still, he remembers how she would conveniently journal or do outside chores when he was working on a project near the house, and he knows that she cares. He’s allowed to offer a couple of tickets to family members for each show, and one of those is always sent to Tegan because he knows she’ll attend every time to admire his latest creations.
Kyla McCusker: Youngest sister - While Tegan was Lee’s unofficial project monitor, Kyla was one of his most frequent project testers/recipients. He made her a seesaw, a dollhouse, and a wooden ship to play on in their backyard. They may not have a great deal of common ground given the twelve years between their ages, but he still scoops Kyla off her feet for a big hug whenever they’re able to catch up and chat.
