I suspected that during James' birthday you would publish a new chapter of Solar Flare which would also include James' birthday and the known incident from New Moon.

Or that sweet, fluffy Omega James you once talked about.

I didn't expect that at all.

But I'm delighted either way.

P.S. It's really funny that James knew that Remus would forgive him for having sex with Sirius but Sirius wouldn't forgive him for having sex with Remus 🤭

apparently alpha wolves in packs groom the others (idk how true that is) and now im thinking about jegulus in the shower and instead of getting handsy sexily, regulus is very rigorous when it comes to exfoliating james, lathering him in bodywash, shampooing and conditioning his hair..dragging him in for a 10 step skincare routine. james can immediately tell his rut is coming up with the regulus-initiated shower doesn't involve at least one handjob but instead consists of very meticulous cleaning

PLEASE you just know James is so confused the first time it happens… like reg starts touching him and he gets a little worked up… a little hard yk because normal course of action is this ending with at least one of them on their knees for the other and he Loves that yk. But then suddenly reg is manhandling him to turn around and putting on these scrubbing gloves and James is like ??? What’s happening??? But obviously he lets himself be pulled this way and that as reg just meticulously cleans every single inch of him. And I do mean EVERY inch, like he’s telling James completely seriously to turn around and James blushes and thinks he’s about to get fingered but it’s just reg scrubbing him to high hell. It all ends with a very confused pink-skinned James being roughly towel dried by a stoic looking reg. he learns to love it though, feels so very special to be given all this attention to especially when he learns what it means to reg.

Me too! And it’s so, so rare. Top of my head, I can think of only….three (to be fair—I don’t read Jegulus, but it seems like Regulus tends to be the omega, afaik). But, that would be @asterin-kelles A Bit of a Complex, @charmstwit and pigeononacloud’s Stay with Me, and R33sespieces A Cauldron Full of Hot Strong Love. (All of which are excellent, and I’m following both of the first two for new updates like I need air)

But otherwise, James seems to be mostly Alpha! Let him beg for a knot too. He’s so pretty when he does it.

i am an advocate for the james as an omega movement. but i feel i will never see it actualized 😭 any chance of your fic going in that direction? i doubt it will, but i had to ask.

So mine did not go that direction (sorry), however I have it on good authority that I am friends with about 20+ jegulus writers so let me just... drop it in the group chat. Someone's going to make that happen 🫡
