Considering I've heard ESC was going to be wild this year and I already had heard the hilarious names like Baby Lasagna, so I wanted to check out our Joost's competition. I've only listened to Croatia so far, but yes, this year is going to be wild. I think I already mentioned I've been a metalhead since my literal infant stage as it was the one genre that got me quiet and fall asleep whereas I would wail at lullabies. One of the metalbands I was a casual fan of is Omega Lithium before their disbandment, and I was one of the fans who checked out MANNTRA, the band formed by some of the Omega Lithium members. The first was dancemetal, the second was folk metal. Considering that, my brain made the association when listening to Baby Lasagna and I had to look at his wikipedia page. My gut was correct and I've actually been listening to the dude for years. It's like my elementary school days are having a showdown with my teenage days for the whole world to see. Thank you for this year, Eurovision.
