A year had passed since Will had died. When Alana learned about what happened to Will, she was shocked, yet she told everyone that she was fine. Things happen and death was something natural, just as mourning someone you care about, or as being in denial for almost a year.
Alana hadn’t visited his grave since the day of his funeral, but that day, she felt the urges of see him, or see what was left of him, she knew sadly, where she could find him. “Hello Will, I…” Alana sighed, “I’m sorry I just…” she cursed under her breath. She felt dumb standing there, in front of Will’s grave, not that she didn’t want to be there, simply she couldn’t find the words that she wanted to say. Who would listen to her?
Alana was about to leave when she suddenly memories of her friend filled her mind. Will in his lectures, Will consulting with Jack, Will with his dogs, the change of his face as his illness was progressing, the tired look in his face, the hollow where blue eyes should be. She remembered those last days, how sad and hopeless he looked.
The last days, Will was plagued with nightmares and terrors, and rarely smiled. Alana could recall perfectly how many times Will looked genuinely happy. But she had never seen a more peaceful expression on him, than the day before he was buried. He had finally reached out that peace that he needed.
“Peace has always seemed like a distant idea to you, and now I can see it. I didn’t mean to be selfish Will, but I couldn’t bear the idea of losing you. I wish I would’ve been with you when you needed me,” tears forming in her eyes now, she couldn’t contain a choked sob. “I wish I would’ve been a better friend, the one that you deserved, but I couldn’t. I failed you and I failed myself. I wish I could’ve done things better,“ her voice, almost as a whisper, “I wish you were here right now.” Alana was crying openly, she knew no one would see her, maybe Will would. Perhaps, he could hear her wherever he was. Maybe one day, they’d meet again.
◦"Please, don’t do this!"
Will trembled where he had locked himself in the bathroom, various pills from all over the house beside him as he held a handful of them in his palm, squeezing his eyes, trying to shut out the sound of his brother. “I….I c-can’t do this anymore….I c-can’t keep being so confused a-and lost and….and unwelcome and not belonging…nobody w-wants me Will…I…I’m s-sorry to leave you but your not the f-freak…you’ll find tons of alphas to make you h-happy and you’ll move on. People want you.” he sobbed, trembling and just lifting the pills to his mouth. “I’m s-sorry, but I…I can’t anymore…”
omega-will said: ((feel better hun)) “Hope you feel better.”
[ Thank you, still have a slight fever but im much better]
" She feels better, thanks"
Will was loosing more time as the full moon approached. He stood in his boxers and T-shirt on the man's porch. "Can you tell me where I am?"
Tonny takes a long drag at his blunt, looking up and down the other man." Yeah, you're on my porch. And you are going to freeze to death, if you stay like that."
