I love how Caliborn is used here to represent that, how Vriska was used too, how there is an optimal way to play the game and that you succeed not by taking shortcuts but by enjoying it with your friends and that powering through the game hurts people in the long run, and that Caliborn's selfishness made him have to spend eternity in purgatory (though his reward was total godhood and immortality) 

The biggest constant in the story is how it's a game and I love all the different ways hussie represents games inside homestuck
