fated meeting | the-fallen-prince-of-balbadd | magiofkou
It was about one degrees Celsius outside and snow covered the ground. The large, gray clouds had covered the entire sky and soft white patches of snow danced in the wind before falling to the ground. Fallen was walking down the street after exiting a coffee shop where he had bought himself a warm cup of hot chocolate. It was freezing cold outside. Not a single soul would be crazy enough to walk around without a coat or something to keep them warm.
His golden eyes fell upon a teenage boy who seemed to be a little older than him. He looked like he was freezing cold only wearing a coat with a pair of gloves on. His face was red and it looked as if he was shaking from the cold chill. What was he even doing outside anyway? Poor guy…
Out of the tiny bit of kindness he had in his heart, he walked up to the raven and stared at him eye to eye. Before the other could rudely say something or deny him, he took off his red scarf and slowly wrapped it around the other male’s neck. Then he grabbed onto his hands and guided them to the cup of hot chocolate he had in his own. “Take these. It’ll do you more good than I.” He grinned a little and then began to walk away leaving the other male stunned and standing there.
Silently, he began to mumble to himself. “…Damn… Why did I do that… That scarf was a gift- Eh… Nothing I can do now…”
Judal had left the house without further thinking, That call had totally surprised him and he didn't think before leaving the house, which he regretted just a few moments later. The cold wind blew up snow and threw it at him, making him shiver even more. Damn, why didn't he bring a scarf? Why didn't he change clothes before leaving? He wrapped his coat tighter around his body, then put his hands in his pockets. His almost numb fingers felt some fabric and he sighed delighted. At least he had gloves with him.
The ravenette hurried on. The sooner he reached his destination the better. Why did his colleague had to get ill? Well, he could imagine seeing how cold it got the last days. If only he didn't get sick as well.
Judal raised his gaze just in time to see the blonde that stopped right in front of him. Damn that guy, didn't he see he was in a hurry? Just when he wanted to open his mouth to shoo the other away he felt warm, soft fabric wrapped around his neck. He stared at the other dumbfounded, unable to say a single word. Could this really be happening? His crimson gaze lowered to his hands when the other shoved the cup into his hands. It took him another few moments until he finally moved, turned around to look for the other who was already out of sight. "Thank you... I guess." What a strange day.
He stood for another moment and stared into the direction the other disappear to, then turned around on hurried on. It didn't take him too long until he reached his destination and dived into the warmth of the building. He was greeted by the stuff and hurried up the stairs to get into his place. He didn't even have the time to take of his coat now, he was already too late.
"Hello everyone, this is Judal, surprise, isn't it? Yeah, I was surprised, too, when I got a call from Kougyoku darling who won't be able to entertain you today. Ah, don't make that face, I know you were expecting her cute voice, guess you'll have to deal with me instead." He looked down to his screen and clicked a song. "I am sure you'll enjoy this song, it's of her favorites after all. Get well soon old hag, those guys need their princess." He pressed the play button and grinned at the screen for a moment. "Their princess, huh? What a day." The ravenette got up again, finally getting rid of his wet coat and shawl, taking especially care of the latter. He got back into his seat right after and took a sip of the now almost cold chocolate. The music went on for some more minutes, giving him a little break to fully catch his breath and get comfortable.
"Today something strange happened to me. When I was hurrying down the streets to get here. I was suddenly stopped by a young teenage guy. You wanna know what he did? He put a red scarf around my neck and told me I need it more than he does. Funny, isn't it? I didn't know there were still such selfless people out there, but maybe it was just stupidity? Anyway, since I wasn't able to say this earlier, I'll do it now. Thank you strange blond boy. I hope you'll hear this so I can give your scarf back to you. You can write an email at [email protected] and we'll see what we can do about your pretty shawl. Looking forward to it. Until then, enjoy the next songs, also some of the princess' favorites." Again the play button was pressed and he sank onto the table with a little sigh. Even though he was working at the most popular radio station, how big were the chances that guy actually got the message and wrote to him?
