Vampire Jared who was turned during his unusual past. He is a vegetarian, drinking tomato juice. However with his strong emotions towards Richard this new thirst was awaken within him. He confesses to Richard about what he is and Richard offers him his blood. He wouldn't want his loyal employee to be hungry and soon enough Jared becomes addicted to Richard. Whenever he feeds on Richard he can feel his body heat warm him up and get close enough to notice how Richard smells. Sorry I am weird.
No way, Jared the gentle vampire is such a good, good thing! I love the idea that his attraction to Richard awakens these unknown desires in him! He's always so careful, so conscientious, cleans up meticulously after, feels immensely guilty for "using" Richard in this way. But at the same time he absolutely loves it. Craves the closeness almost more than anything else.

I wonder if Jared even noticed that Richard repeats what Jared tells Richard sometimes. Like in one interview about Pied Piper taking off Richard says they are finally the belles of the ball (I am not too sure how the phrase goes). I like to imagine Jared realizes this and sometimes when he likes to remember why he is doing everything for Pied Piper he rewatches Richards interview to know that Richard does take to heart what he says.
Oh my gosh, Richard repeating things Jared says to him is my absolute favorite. I do hope Jared's noticed it; it clearly means so much to him when he realizes Richard is actually listening to what he has to say! Do you think Jared also thinks Richard looks cute with his TV makeup on?
Jarrich college Au. Stressed out Richard has Jared assigned as his roommate in the dorms. Richard is a mess, drinking energy drinks like water and playing video games all night. Jared kept to himself until one day Richard has a panic attack before an important presentation. Jared helps him calm down in the bathroom. Afterwards they have this sense of trust with each other and mom Jared is in full swing. Jared confesses his feeling while Richard is crying over his crush, and Richard accepts him.
Oh this is sweet. The idea of a college au for them is interesting, because I feel like Richard was absolutely MISERABLE at college, while Jared loved his time there (“those too-soon-over happiest of years”!) so much. Gregarious, social Donald coaxing Richard out of his shell! Getting him to put on clean clothes and leave the room for once! Richard realizing he’s found the one person he feels genuinely comfortable around! Them going home together for holidays and stuff!
Hey do you think Jared knits? I feel like when he doesn't have much to do he turns on a nature documentary and knits upcoming Christmas or birthday presents for the gang.
Yes!!!!! And that he pretty much exclusively knits gifts for other people is definitely the case. He'd do it when he's stressed out, too.
