OH. MY. GOSH. YES OF COURSE!!!
Okay! So they happened because I Adore Toni Dreykov and I wanted to give her a chance at having friends aside from the Thunderbolts & @ieatkitkatswrong Loves Moon Knight (the character and the show) so we brainstormed a few ways to get them on a team together and we ended up with the fact that, in the comics, there are like 2 people that Taskmaster can't beat in a fight: Moon Knight and Deadpool. Many discussions of team dynamics and silliness followed so I made a drawing and things. Escalated. We actually wound up making a comic (or at least one page)(two but we still don't have the second page so things didn't get far) out of an rp thread about them!! There are actually a few rp threads but most of them are just Toni and Steven because Wade died a little bit (the person running the account lost interest in him as a muse). I also wound up making a few edits:

There isn't as much lore as I'd like there to be but basically they met because Antonia was hired (potentially as yet another purposeful suicide mission) to kill Wade and, at the same time, Khonshu decided that it was time for Marc to get rid of Wade for The Crimes. They fought for a while, tried to kill each other, Toni stood in the corner in bewilderment because none of her weapons were doing anything, and then they wound up actually having a civil (ish) conversation. Not before Wade lost an arm but he was fine, it grew back. They wound up at Wade's apartment, talked for a while, bonded over trauma (a little bit), something something, they're friends now! And they're a silly little team that usually makes things worse before better, but they're damn good at their jobs when it comes down to it.
