Her hand remains motionless against the eager length pulsing beneath the fabric. Cautious.
“The last time, you stopped because you thought you had hurt me.”
Ominis’s jaw tightens.
“And you appear to have forgotten everything that occurred before that moment.”
“No. I’ve been thinking about it for two days.”
She removes her hand from his trousers and places it against his stomach. Seducing his body before gaining the assent of his mind would feel like an unworthy victory.
“You liked pinning me to the mattress. Deciding. Hearing me beg. I haven’t forgotten.”
“That ought to be enough to make you abandon this idea.”
“Why? Because you enjoyed something I enjoyed as well?”
“Because I nearly lost control.”
“So? At the first cry you couldn’t understand, you stopped before I’d even asked you to.”
Ominis turns his face away.
“You call that reassuring evidence?”
“Yes. You believe what distinguishes you from your family is never wanting power. I believe it is what you do with power when someone entrusts it to you.”
He does not answer.
“Please… Let me show you that losing control doesn’t change who I know you are, Ominis.”
“By using your body as a demonstration?” he asks acidly.
“No. By doing something with my mouth that I’ve wanted to do for two days. The demonstration is an additional benefit.”
Ominis swallows. Little by little, acceptance softens his indignant expression. Only then does Evelyne’s hand close around the tension imprisoned in his trousers.
A rough breath escapes him.
“Well?” she murmurs. “What do you think?”
He releases a strangled sound.
“You’ll stop if it becomes uncomfortable.”
“Immediately. And if you ask me to.”
His lips remain compressed for several interminable seconds.
“Very well,” he sighs.
Evelyne’s heart swells in her chest.
“Yes?”
He firmly closes his eyelids.
“Don’t make me repeat myself.”
