rewatched “A Rebellious Woman” episode
and, to this day this ep from season 1 is still one of my favorites.
The writers have really changed my standards forever on how I expect women to be written (and in a historical context no less)! just wonderful no one else compares atm
But I didn’t remember the part where the Cardinal takes her (rebellious woman name escapes me) land/estate/money whatever because of a new Navy...like has the navy been mentioned since then? Punishing this lady for no reason hmph. I would also like to see her in future episodes. But not like...because of Athos but because she is super awesome and important to the plot.
Also, I forgot how pivotal this ep was for Athos (seeing Lady de Winter) and for D’artagnan (true loveeee). I mean Athos was ready to pummel DeWinter in this episode and it’s like season 2 totally forgot about how much they hated each other (AND FOR GOOD REASON) now they’re all kissy face emoji its weird.
