When someone states their opinion on something and someone else comments on how it's not their cup of tea, defensively tells you why and apologizes for it..
Whenever I see this I'm like and I care and the person who posted this cares because...? Your opinion is not gonna hurt the person or make someone rethink their stance. They just want to be heard! "Sorry, but I feel this other so-so-way." Uh yeah that really doesn't hurt someone's feelings, so don't apologize. In fact, if a person rebukes my opinion and respectfully tells me about them and why I will be interested in them because I feel like I learned about someone! Granted the person has to seem less guarded, because telling you what ever it is you like makes them sick may make it hard for them to even accept you...
I hate how people think that they're gonna get someone butt hurt just because someone doesn't support what they do and that it matters to the person. It also is irritating that they defend and get uppity with how they think, using their feelings towards whatever it is to support their opinions and to indirectly persuade someone from thinking and feeling what they did initially about something.
I like a lot of unpopular things and hell, maybe even what some may consider disturbing things! I don't regret it at all. I think it makes me an interesting person.
