Good Air: The Pandemic Paintings by Dan Fleming
Solo show installation view. Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, Fond Du Lac Wisconsin. February 7th-March 21st, 2025. It's hard to believe that we've already seen more than 3 years pass since the height of the Covid Pandemic. While many scars are still healing, with time comes understanding and, eventually, perspective on an era that, while we'd prefer it to be, won't soon be forgotten. That said, the further we get and the more time we spend looking back on two years of lockdowns, quarantines and daily death counts, the more we search for purpose and ways to grow from that collective trauma. I am excited to announce Good Air, the second showing of the Pandemic Paintings at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Opening on February 7th with a reception at 5PM, come out and take an in-depth look at selections from over 100 large-scale paintings and drawings created from 2020-2022 during the height of the Pandemic.
