What was the last movie you saw?
The Countess. (link to trailer) There was a giant fleamarket and I bought a bunch of cheap dvds. It wasn't that good, tbh. (spoilers) It could have been a movie about a woman dealing with the war with the turks and and the political climate and manipulating people while slowly losing herself to the obsession to bathe in virgin women's blood to appear young, or a movie about a rich woman in a position of great power who goes all in on her new obsession of vanity, throwing away more and more of what she has until she has nothing left. Instead it's a rich and independent woman with the king in her pocket dealing with the war and outsmarting the other nobles with her plans until she falls in love and obsesses over looking beautiful after getting her heart broken. The movie tries to go all in on showing her obsession growing, but it only lasts like five minutes, and for the rest of the movie she's not a cruel mastermind and she's not a ruthless noble on the hunt for blood, only a lukewarm 'meh'-inbetween pining for her 'one true love'.

The Necromancer's War III Endspiel – Nick Perumov.
I haven't touched it or another book in months. That is the tenth book of the series, I'm slowly getting fed up with it, but why stop now, I've gotten this far? But there are badass women of all ages. Magic, dragons, names written in the russian alphabet and I'm totes pronouncing them wrong. And my Favourite Plot Device: Universe Jumping.

Which fictional character would you like to hang out with for a day?
Zoë Castillo from the Dreamfall Chapters games. We could hang out, play with adorable future robots... She was a big part of my growing up years, and I like her a lot, so much.
What was the last fandom you joined?
I re-joined Hanna is not a boy's name, if that counts? Newest fandom though, the Fables comics fandom? A lil' bit. Not very active, just a creeper.
