living in the US as a diabetic is constantly entering a gladiatorial match against your insurance company so that they can do what you fucking pay them to do
#the new comedy skit that my insurance gave me recently was that they rejected the prescription my doctor gave me#because they will only cover 1 unit of insulin#1 unit#one unit#one (1) unit#1 (one) unit#I need 120 PER DAY (technically I need less but my doctor rounds up so I can have some extra in case of emergencies)#whomst the fuck is surviving off of 1 unit A MONTH?
