Bread day??????????????? Hello where do u work I would like to submit an application
I work down the hall from (and occasionally next to, depending on what I’m doing) a baking (research) lab. Occasionally, they tell a select few when they make pasta, so we get fresh pasta; also dried pasta, to take home. There are definite perks. Once, there were cookies. More bread wheat research than durum research, though, so more bread than pasta. (I specifically do not actually produce any food at work. I’ve produced malt but, uh, we don’t ferment it.) I also have a bag of semolina flour in my freezer, to do something with at some point, once I find a good recipe.
And, I mean, the last person hired in that lab was specifically hired to bake bread, so.... You’re pretty much good unless you’re allergic to flour and/or dust.
