at some point this summer, if I have the reserves, I may attempt to repaint and update the hardware on our hideous kitchen cabinets, which are currently, inexplicably painted black on the trim and and a lumpy MATTE WHITE on the doors. These once-lovely flat-panel mid-century style wooden cabinets now have at least three layers of incompetently-applied paint on them, including that omnipresent shade of avocado green that infected everything in the late seventies... 

I’ve wanted to fix this since we moved in, but have lacked the money and emotional/physical resources to take it on. In hopes I can do it this summer, I am slowly but surely deep-cleaning the kitchen so that I can take some photos and start mucking about in photoshop with possible colors etc

it’s been two days and so far I have one (1) corner tidied, lmao
