Mandy nervously straightened her blouse, took a deep breath, and gave the edge of the open door a soft knock. She didn’t receive an answer, so she peered around to peek in. Her new boss at Torchwood, Rose Tyler, appeared to have stepped out of her office for a moment. She’d mentioned that she might, though, and she’d told Mandy to come in and make herself at home. Rose was supposed to be there, however -- she was a bit of a workaholic, and the Doctor was doing his best to break her of that, but it was a work in progress. He walked in, smiling at the new secretary as he passed, and peeked into the office. And of course, Rose wasn't there. He sighed, looking out again. "Excuse me? Have you seen Agent Tyler?" It was so weird calling her that.
