When you are so stitched into someone that you forget you were ever separate.
Craving the Weight
I feel overwhelmed, a prickling fear crawling in my brain whenever I think of you. You frighten me with your intensity. But I’m addicted to it—someone who can love me this hard.
I’m charmed by your passion. You say others thought it was too much, but I want you to love me freely. I’ve never been wanted so much in my life. Someone who would dare sacrifice so much of themselves just to have me in their life. I always question why, but I feel it in a blanket hugging me tight. It suffocates me, yet I crave the weight of it pressing me into you.
You thirst for me in ways that make me weak, that I can’t keep up with—but I love you just the same. I wait to give up everything if I can be seen like this forever.
It feels like life has a plan to keep us apart. Your voice quivering with dark tears ravages me—I’d do anything to undo it.
I’d rather be wrapped in the heat of your skin, whispering secret vows: what’s in my body is forever in yours, for as long as we live.
For we could never be close enough till the day we die. Then our souls may reunite fully as one to make that promise come true.
Four men. One soul ☮️🤘🏻
In Spain, there’s a saying: media naranja, meaning ‘half orange’. It’s similar to the English ‘better’ or ‘other half’. Or soulmate. Its origins are likely from Ancient Greek legend. Plato describes in the Symposium how humans were once orange-like with two faces. Some were male, some were female, some were androgynous. Zeus split humans in half to curb their power, and humanity is forever looking for its media naranja. The males are looking for their male lover, the females their female, the androgynous, the other half to their androgyny.

Anyway, you get it.
