i think we can all agree that jun hae in plays these sad roles really really well. but i want him to do a rom com or something happy. i want to see him smile and not have sad puppy dog eyes. I want him to not be on the verge of tears like 90% of the drama if possible. I just want him to be happy is all

This is one of those dramas where I’m sort of beside myself in where I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not. Both leads were fantastic and I always usually enjoy Jung Hae-In dramas, but to me in this one something was missing. Like it started out great after maybe towards midway through I was totally engaged with it, but all of a sudden the story took a turn and got boring. The characters kept on facing the same conflicts over and over again, getting quite repetitive. 🤷♀️ it’s still watchable though.

honestly by now i thought i would hate the boyfriend but after ep 4 he’s still a decent person. he goes out of his way multiple times to accommodate jeong in and is super understanding which makes this drama so painful to watch. like i understand that Lee Jeong-In and Yoo Ji-Ho have really good chemistry but Gi-Seok did nothing wrong and in the end while im rooting for the main couple i feel super bad while doing it
One Spring Night
Lee Seo In, Lee Jeong In and Lee Jae In are sisters. Their mother has always been supportive but their father has been manipulative and obstinate to say the least. Lee Seon In was pushed to marry a man who abused her physically. Lee Jeong In is being pushed to marry her long time boyfriend even when she doesn’t want to; only Lee Jae In seems to be off the hook, although her father is very mad at her for coming back to Korean without having finished studying.
The story focuses on Lee Jeong In’s story but Seo In’s story is also important. These two women stayed in relationships that caused them pain. They were not happy. Seo In lived in fear of being killed by her abusive husband and Jeong In was still with Gi Seok even though she didn’t love him any more. Seo In is ready to get divorced and Jeong In decides to let go of this loveless relationship once she finds herself in love with Yoo Ji Ho.
The story played on the stigma of single parents and divorce. Seo In should not get divorced, specially if she is pregnant. . . Jeong In should not get involved with Yoo Ji Ho, who is a single father. . . . The arrogance of Gi Seok and Shi Hoon as they tried to hold on to relationships that were dead, not because they loved these women, but because they don’t want to lose.
The story was slow for me. And I must admit it was exasperating, but that’s just because of my personality. I’ve always believed that the best thing is to leave someone as soon as we know love is dead - why wait until you find someone new? Jeong In was very selfish and didn’t think about how Ji Ho and his son might feel if she backed out. I couldn’t connect with her. I did connect with her sisters and Ji Ho.
It is a good story and if you like this kind of plot, you will enjoy this story. The complexity of family relations are seen in this story and it’s ending gives you hope that things will work out for everyone.

One spring day
By George Wahl © May 14, 2019
One spring day, the day our small group chose to go out. We were going to Great Adventure as a respite. I had cooked a batch of chicken parts. I sold them to the people in the park and on the bus for $2.50 a -piece. I also made Kool-Aid® and sold it for $0.50 a glass. We sold out of whatever we had. Everyone said what I had made was better than what the park had to offer.
We toured the African safari and we rode roller coasters. Though the trip was great, the fact that I could replicate my mother's recipe was greater. Kevin, Steve, and his girlfriend and I had a great time. Selling all that chicken allowed me to make money hand- over- fist. This was a best day in my life so far
