Jen has a knack for encouraging and uniting women, and this book is all about that knack. I’m just a wee bit in, but already, in her trademark style, with wit and grace, Jen gives women a common language with which to share their dreams. She makes dreamers and encouragers of us all. And for that, women and families everywhere are very grateful. • Jen asked us to answer the question “What’s the secret to following your dreams” in 3 words. Here goes: • Seek: a dream is the whisper of the Holy Spirit. Seek God’s illumination of your dream. Tell Him every detail, and ask Him to make your heart like His. Prayer isn’t about persuading God that your dream is best. It’s all about asking God to help you dream for yourself what He dreams for you. • Serve: We are created to serve. And that’s where we will truly find happiness. Who are you serving with your dream? How does your dream bring God’s hands and feet (and heart) alive in the lives of others? • Surrender: Once you’ve discerned His call, surrender entirely to Him. Every surprising turn in the road. Every bump. Every unexpected joy and every nearly unbearable burden. Let them be His, and pursue that dream with full confidence that His imagination for you will be far better than the biggest dream you could ever dream on your own. • This book is wisdom for dreamers and a sweet shove for doubters.
