One Dance Left || Xander & Kennedy
@strangeandoffputting
It's a weird morning, and it's been a weird couple of weeks. The snowfall in the Midwest is everything the radio said it would be and it's got Kennedy questioning her rationale for heading for Lebanon to begin with.
At least it's sunny, that's something.
They're a few hours out, heading into Topeka, when she reaches for the volume to turn up The New Radicals on a classics station that fizzles out every time the highway turns them North. Kennedy peers over her shoulder at the girl sleeping in the back seat, "Are you for sure she's not gonna rip our guts out? My spider senses are going loco."
