Hi DAD, Can an illustrator have a successful career/income without client work? I love the idea of having complete control of my illustration career, (someday). What are some other ways, besides clients, successful illustrators earn income?

Look, this is a big question with a big answer. I don’t know if you noticed, but this is not the place for long answers. The short answer is yes, of course. It’s called artist-as-entrepreneur and you should Do some research.
