As the final day got closer, though, I decided to read "a book recommended by a fellow Duodecathon participant." . But as it turned out, I needn't have worried, because I read over 1,803 pages without even counting any of the pages in Scythe, the recommended book! Altogether, I read 2,238+ pages in eight books!
