Oneirodes formosanus and Gigantactis cheni, Two new deep-sea anglerfishes from Taiwan
Oneirodes formosanus and Gigantactis cheni are two new deep-sea anglerfishes described from northeastern Taiwan. Caught at a depth of 400 to 600 m by commercial fishing boat using bottom trawlers. O. formosanus is about 3.6 inches and G. cheni is 15 inches in size. Both the species were caught in the year 1998 and 2001 respectively.
