‘ i had every chance to pull the trigger. but did i ? ‘
IRONIC THAT SHE FALLS MERCY TO A FAMILIAR FOE. life wielding within her fingertips, giving rise to the wounded below to only fall in sight of the widow’s craft. ❛ —— no. ❜ a single syllable - swept with a lingering curiosity that pulls her eyes to hover above her foe’s. tragedy armed with a void is what she comes to see : the widow that wears the many layers of horrific misfortunes, the one sentenced to an infinite realm of nightmares, forever to be damned. pathos rises within her ; a murderer is not what she sees but a reflection of their ( overwatch ) failures. she sees the fragments of humanity, the goodness, the liberty, the STRENGTH mangled with a void too violent to free the woman within. but even so, do her thoughts run to the pressing question : ‘ DO YOU WANT TO RETURN HOME . ..? ’ but she is not a fool to try the patience of time, nor one to betray with empty promises..
instead, she leaves the widow with two words, ❛ thank you. ❜
