So we got the best-friends in Edom bonding with Clary and Simon.

There was the mutual respect formed and the not-as-much-of-a-dick-as-I-originally-thought trope with Alec and Lorenzo.

AND THEN WE GOT FUCKING JACE AND MELIORN: THE COMEDIC DUO WE NEVER KNEW WE NEEDED give me more of the exasperated and low-key gay partners pls

Okay guys don’t get me wrong... I loved the Shadowhunters Finale! But am I the only one who felt like all of it was rushed? 

First of all, there was no build-up to Luke turning back into a Shadowhunter. I thought that he liked being a werewolf. Or at least he had adjusted enough to feel comfortable in his werewolf skin. But there was no development behind it? With so many changes going on in the finale, this was the writers way of “changing” Luke. But let’s be honest: that was completely unnecessary 

(and did they have to get rid of the beard??? I mean come on guys...)

I felt the same way with Clary’s story. I think they should have left her storyline at her brother’s death and ended with the Malec wedding and the “one year later.” 

There was no build-up! No foreshadowing that Clary was going to be punished for her rune-making abilities. Really poor development. The PROTAGONIST deserved a much happier ending.
