The March began at the Historic Dunbar Hotel and Jazz Park in South Central Los Angeles. • In the 1920’s this Historic and once affluent neighborhood of South Central, was the center for Black Business and Black Excellence. The Dunbar Hotel was the only hotel the likes of Duke Ellington, Lena Horne, Ray Charles and many more Artist of color were allowed lodge and perform for one another- even though they were big name stars. • @isaiahrussellbaily, star of the hit @netflix show @familyreunionnetflix spoke passionately and from the heart regarding what this movement and time in life means to him.
