Pt. 2

We were left roaming the city with no idea of what to do. We ended up on Google Maps trying to navigate ourselves to a 24hr pancake house, which was rumored to have amazing pancakes. It was near midnight at this time and it seemed like the longest walk I have ever taken through a city. The city was almost silent, broken by our loud laughter and jumping around in the streets. We turned down a small alley and walked up some steps and to our surprise we found what was probably the only populated place in this part of town. We ate and chatted before starting back on our seemingly endless walk to nowhere and yes, the pancakes were to die for. We walked past this really cool club a couple of times before deciding to go for it. None of us were the club dancing type so we just sat and watched people. The dj was playing every R&B song I have ever loved, this was a great idea. After dancing in our chairs for an hour I lost the “What Are the Odds” game with Sarah and I had to go dance with Charles in front of everyone. Luckily I was saved by the last departing train leaving in just a few minutes. We jumped out of our chairs and got on the train back towards the Hills. I remember thinking about how much I was going to miss them. Also about the fact that it was nearly 2am and I had to get up to catch an 8am flight.
