Lifeās been really crazy lately. Time to breathe. To escape my 7 days a week schedule. Iām choosing to push myself out of my comfort zone today and taking a long awaited trip to Big Sur. Just me...and my cat. Who has no idea

I was walking over to you in the crowd and the moment I touched your shoulder that song played and I knew
105
My whole life was moved 2,725 miles. I thought that āfeelingā would hit me when I spent my last day with my friends. It didnāt. I thought I would feel it on the plane ride over. I didnāt. Mom came with me this time. I walk down the creaky hall and to my left I turn my key into a door reading 105. It looks so big, this space. We load in huge bags and suitcases. I put on music while mom and I unpack. I canāt believe this is my new place. I havenāt been this excited in a long time. Somehow the end of the day came suddenly and I rolled out my air mattress and said goodbye to my mom.
The amount of hard work and planning I do on trips I probably wonāt go on for years is amazing
I need to log in real time. Itās a never ending regret.
I donāt know if there will be a day where I donāt have the urge to run. I always want to go; to travel. I do miss you New Zealand
I met someone here. I was for sure this time. But Iām for sure every time so we know how that went
I remember cleaning around the beachstay always listening to Still Woozy or RY X and that one Kevin Garrett song on repeat
Iāve been MIA..but not
I know it might be a surprise but I packed up my many things in January and moved across the country to live in a small apartment on the corner of Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, California. It rained the first week when I arrived, sorry to make you rain, L.A. Iām happy here. I found a community a lot like mine from back home where although I donāt feel known just yet, I feel overwhelmingly loved. Iām hearing from one of the most incredible minds on the planet, Erwin McManus every week and the team of people around me are mirrors of him, I think Iām starting to get there. I am currently fostering two tiny kittens that I call Bonez and Ophelia. Iām not sure whether I can keep both of them but of course I want to. Trying to get use to the amount of nature and seemingly endless exploration just steps away from my tiny apartment. Iām doing okay here; Iād say actually quite well.Ā
I donāt like rushing my stories because then they come out like the last one so here i go again seeee ya until i write something DECENT - Until then I might fill spaces with random writing not about traveling
France in a messy nutshell
Long time no talk
A NZ update - a year late
Rewind - so sorry
Hello! I drafted many paragraphs but because of such bad reception in France, they are nowhere to be found. Iām going to write as much as I can remember. IĀ ām thinking of making it a series sort of thing? Not sure how that will work but Iāll figure it out. It hasnāt been too long since my arrival back home but it feels like it has been an entire year. Get ready C - you have quite a lot of writing to do. (hopefully I get better at this whole writing thing)
Iām in France! - Youāve missed so much.
After 3 flights I arrived in Toulouse, France about 5 days ago. I am staying with a beautiful family in a small community called Galez which is just outside of another cute town called Galan. Some might describe Galez as in the middle of nowhere, lots of land full of hay bails, spread out houses and a few cattle here and there. It has been a lot of fun. Harry and Benie have treated me like their own kid. They have a six year old daughter called Tempi and a nine year old son named Quinton. They are both bilingual (French & English) so theyāre teaching me quite a bit. Itās very relaxing here. We have 8 dogs at the moment, one of them just got picked up. Most of my days iām just hanging at the house on the couch then feeding the dogs and playing with the kids. I havenāt been able to see much of France but It does sort of feel like typical South France that youād see in films. I canāt get over how cute Galan is. Itās not much but theres a cafe, a church, and some other shops and pharmacies. Iāve tried so many french foods. I am so happy they eat so much chocolate - wow. I leave early on the 18th to Amsterdam to visit Gijs, but I will definitely be coming back to help Harry with the kids again. This trip has already been so wild.
Hereās my secret: I have the hardest time going to sleep because I always have nightmares. Literally almost every night, unless I donāt dream at all
āWow, yeah heās definitely going to ruin my lifeā
