Quick headcanon: Link keeps all his meals in little mason jars wrapped in leather. Like a freaking Pinterest lady. If he needs to eat something mid battle, he grabs one and dumps it in his mouth. Zelda does not know what to do with his hoard of mason jars.

I like this!! It’s hard to imagine him carrying a full steak dinner in a pouch... not that it fits much better in a mason jar but it makes a little more sense. Also him having collections of DIY labeled mason jars with little coloured markings or ribbons for their effectiveness (red for spicy food, blue for chilling food, etc) is really cute hahaha.

this made me laugh because the whole inspiration for wanting to make it one day was watching one of my friends play a dating sim and me going “im too dang ace for this where is my befriend unicorns sim.” ... “oh wait i guess i should just make that.” cue unicorn petting sim plans

Do the unicorns talk or do you just convince them with fruit and grass?

you absolutely talk with them but one of them you probably convince with fruit and grass (but only really good fruit or that really sweet grass that they cant reach unicorns have STANDARDS even the really eager ones) or one of them you probably just tell them that they’re really pretty. maybe that you’re jealous of their beard. your reward for consistently flattering their ego is some day maybe you can even braid their beard, lucky you. one of them you definitely have to protect the forest and go through a whole chain of events starting with you ignoring the village gossip about an evil in the forest because you’re curious and ending with you probably becoming a hedgewitch in the forest that you now protect probably why not become a creature of legend yourself.

100% would help make this. Spend the game restoring wetlands and taking care of strays in order to prove your worthiness, so that you can pet them.
