Wide open spaces with no one around are now much appreciated and much sought after on our daily exercise walk or run. And yet, only a few weeks ago, I could walk in all directions from home and never see another soul. The dog and I could walk miles hearing only the sound of the birds in the trees and the call of the foxes. Now I find myself seeking out the lesser known footpaths and trails, planning routes that offer good wide stretches, avoiding and detouring away from narrow paths,single track lanes, anywhere that does not give at least 2 meters or 6 feet distance apart from any chance encounter with a other humans. Now I am constantly searching out any road less travelled.. . And as someone who, for my entire life, has always sought out and loved, being in the company of others, (hence my job of being a professional people and wedding photographer) to now intentionally need to avoid other humans, is something I am doing every day, but still adjusting to.. .
