Thanks!  I pretty much never change my icon, I just give it a different background every couple of months so it's not always the same :P

Trafalgar Law

*looks at own URL*  *clears throat*  I hate him, obviously.  

...no honestly Law's one of my favorite characters at the moment and I really never thought he would be when he was first introduced (sorry I'm gonna throw this under a cut because this is long).

And then the more we found out about him the more I realized that he's, well, a giant dork.  Because despite the fact that everybody and their mother talks about his 'infamous cruelty' he keeps...helping people (like, freeing slaves and risking his own life just to save Luffy for no apparent reason and helping those kids and doing everything he can to keep the rest of the Strawhats safe wow what a bad guy), and he's got obvious emotional blocks and tends to close himself off whenever there's a chance he'll appear human (although honestly his interactions with Luffy and the others is hilarious more often than not because he's eternally regretting his decisions but let's face it Luffy's decided he's a friend and he's never getting away), but I'm really looking forward to his backstory even though I'm quite sure it's going to be dark. 

Law really became interesting for me though when the extent of his whole vendetta against Doflamingo was revealed because he's been shown as a very logical and rather cold guy but it humanized him a lot to know that he's being driven solely by his emotions when it comes to this.

He's also one of the few people that seems to know about the Will of D and that's obviously going to become important at some point. 

Also he's brilliant and, if I can be shallow for a moment, really attractive, and I just think he's overall a great character (albeit a little too self-sacrificial) but I'm hoping he loosens up a bit if he continues to play a big part in the plot which of course I'm hoping he does.

(and not entirely related to his character but I love what we've seen of his crew so far and I want to see more of them)
