"That makes sense. They're a lot to keep track of..." The note about the looking glass made him wonder, maybe she didn't have a compact, pocket mirror? ... he had less to fuss over here, maybe she'd make better use of it?

"Here, have a pocket mirror—like alooking glass, but palm-sized, with a cover—you could borrow."

"Pocket.... mirror?" The redhead blinked as he offered her the tiny disc like object.

"Oh, it's so little..." she mused, seeing how it barely fit in a palm. "Eh? You want me to have it? ---But surely it must have cost you a fortune from a merchant! I could never take such a high quality trinket like this, even to borrow!"

It may not have had much in decoration compared to some fancy mirrors, but surely the size made it a valuable asset!

The cheeky grin might make him a mite flustered, but the genuine question will soon have him lowering the arm he'd raised to try and hide a reddening cheek.

"I don't write songs," he said stiffly, before smiling at her curiosity and tucking his hands back into his pockets. "It's one of Miss Roxie's newer songs, have you heard it?" He always seemed a lot cheerier talking about something he liked!

"I haven't," she admitted. "I guess she just finished her new album then! I was seeing advertisements around some of the shops in Castelia for the last few months."

"I take it you're a big fan of her music then?"

Daedra was unsure if she was a fan of the young rocker. While it was exciting to have such a talented individual from Unova, the redhead felt more kinship in that she had a Scolipede compared to being a music enjoyer of that style.

@oneshotprince // continued: Trip wasn't convinced by Daedra's attempt at reassurance and looked suspiciously at the scenery around them.

"... that tree looks awfully familiar... it's the one that looks kind of like a face, I'm pretty sure I took a picture of it earlier..." Trip brought out his camera to show Daedra, but just as he found the picture, the... battery died. Trip was petrified!

"M-my camera!" he squeaked, before shooting Daedra a reproachful look like it's her fault somehow. "You didn't see it, but just from the thumbnail, I know it's the same tree. We just made a complete circle around this stupid place."

"Does it?" the redhead asked, curiously looking to the tree in question.

"Oh, I suppose it does look like a face! How could I have missed that~"

Probably because she might have been discussing something or equally looking down at her unhelpful directions. Either way, it was clear Daedra had no point of reference regarding the tree, and neither did Trip with his camera.

While she hardly seemed as fretful from the situation, Daedra did jump a bit from her companion's sharp outburst. Only able to offer him a few blinks before sheepishly shrugging her shoulders.

"Well, if we did go in a circle, we'll just have to be sure to make a different turn then," the redhead offered far too casually. Afterall, getting lost wasn't something new for her.

"Besides, if we need to, I can just call Lulu for help!"

Clearly the reason Daedra never seemed bothered about losing her way.

A Few Various Sentence Starters:

"Why would I try to get us lost?! I've taken this path numerous times, it's just---- things all look similar depending on the season."

Daedra let out a huff at the accusation, before pulling out her little slip of paper that she'd jotted notes on prior. Pausing, the redhead took a moment to read over what was written, periodically looking up and realigning herself to face a new direction based on what she read.

Daedra paused as she felt a tugging on one of her many dress ornamental. She tended to be hyper aware of such sensations, as she intended to never lose any of her precious ornaments if she could help it. Afterall, each one, even tiny and insignificant, was a precious heirloom for her.

The redhead let herself go still when she noticed Trip was adjusting one of her bangles. She didn't mind when others handled her various metalworks or strands (provided they didn't intend to steal them of course!).

"Oh thank you~ It's sometimes hard to adjust them from my angle. I have to look down and reversed, if I don't have a looking glass nearby."

Which she rarely did outside of her dwelling space. For all her shinies and baubles and trim, Daedra wasn't particularly vain on her appearance.

But he's shy, so it'd probably start off as very quiet humming, then gradually transition to very soft singing, since he doesn't ever feel like Daedra's the judgmental type! (Which would be kind of funny, because he'd probably like louder songs, so it might be very quiet "screaming" like this.)
