"Hello." the half breed said sniffing that air.
"Can I fuckin’ help you?" Did she even know him?
"I'm not in his pack but there' friends of mind." he said smiling happily.
"Good! So, do you know Koga? I’m sure he’ll accept you in his pack." Kagome said with a gentle smile, she knew that Koga wouldn’t turn his back to that young wolf demon, and if he even think about it Kagome would convince to think otherwise.
"Kinda but no one will let me in there pack, Do you know Ginta and Hakkaku?" he said smiling happily
"I do! Oh, you are part of Koga’s pack!? He’s a friend of mine!" The girl said cheerfully, a big smile lightened her features as she put her hands upon her heart, looking Roku with her eyes full of expectation.
Roku smiled to the woman "No that would never work it would earn me disrespect form the pack leader's." he said before adding. "Thank you thought."
"Oh! So, you do have someone to look after you?" Kagome said with a hint of relief in her voice as a gentle smile curved her delicate lips, she felt much better when he mentioned his pack, it worried her that such a young demon was living by himself in such a dangerous place as the forest.
"No it's not dangerous probably the safest place for a demon." he said shrugging. "And know I don't live with a pack I'm alone." he said hiding the sadness in his tone.
The priestess looked him for a few seconds, thinking about the right words to tell him, however, it was hard for her to imagine what she could tell to comfort the young demon. The miko knew by Inuyasha’s experience that sometimes it is hard for demons to live with others, specially humans, but Kagome didn’t want that young boy to live alone in a forest where someone or something could attack him anytime.
"What if you come to live in this village? Here they are used to demons…" It was a risky plan, but she couldn’t just let him go away, specially when she could help him somehow.
"No I live farther into the forest, you?" he asked he his tail waging curiously.
"I live in this village. Isn’t the forest a dangerous place to live? Do you live there with your parents?" She tilted her head to the side, observing the boy with curiosity as she wondered if he was alone in this world like youkais usually are. The image of that boy alone in a forest hurt her heart and she hoped that he had a family and had someone to look after him.
He smiled at the seemingly friendly woman."I'm Roku, who are you?" he asked curiously sniffing for any prey that might be close.
"My name is Kagome, Priestess Kagome." The miko slightly bowed, before turning her chocolate gaze to the boy, she didn’t remember his face near the village or his demonic energy around it. "Do you live near here Roku?"
"Hello." said a halfbreed his tail moving slowly from side to side as he sniffed the air.
"Hello!" The priestess greeted with a gentle smile, her eyes were quickly captured by his curious tail and the priestess observed him for a few seconds, considering if she should ask what kind of demon he was, however, the miko decided not to ask it, she would discover it sooner anyway. "Who are you?"
