When can one really say “Nasa tamang tao na ako.”?
Love seems to be fleeting for quite a lot of relationships this year, making it almost impossible to believe in one that’s everlasting.
To me, love is like this pink santan (jungle flame). They’re never the usual. Almost rare you’d think they’re impossible to find.
“Tamang tao” should not be mistaken as “PERFECT”. No one is. Tamang tao means that one person who continuously and consistently makes an effort to keep the balance.
Tamang tao gives your heart rest. Despite having heaps of trust issues, there will be that one person who will work hard to assure you that you are nothing less.
Tamang tao could be your greatest enemy because he/she too has trust issues like you, but believes that you can work it out together.
Tamang tao can’t actually give you 💯% right on because like you, he/she isn’t sure yet. You have to meet halfway.
Tamang tao understands a lot. But you also have to.
Tamang tao knows that both of you have to compliment and reprimand each other and not got beaten by it.
You have to go through tough times with your “tamang tao” but you don’t have to be restless each time. That would be too tiring.
So, nasa tamang tao ba ako? For a little over a year, I’m hoping I am. I’m right where I need to be, I can say. There’s a long way ahead, though. And I am bound to believe that FOREVER is a choice you make, one sunset at a time.
