I found an article recently on how the painter who did the original Nightmare on Elm Street posters redid one for Freddys Dead. While it's a much better poster, I find myself wondering if it's an actual improvement - it still lacks a lot of the fantasy hyperbole the previous nightmare posters had. It made me wonder what the original Freddy' Dead poster would have looked like if it had been done in the style of 1-4 (5 too, though we only saw it on the OST). This is what I came up with.
